If the World Bank could be debarred from education, it would change beyond recognition. There would be freedom to design education through popular participation and to decide how best to finance it. My wish to imagine this happening is summarized in six points which describe the harm which the World Bank inflicts upon education. There have been some 38,000 readers already and the link is here.

Haakan has been working with the RWI to produce a book in honour of Katarina. More on that later.

Katarina's books have found a new home in a nice and spacious reading room which forms a separate part of the RWI library at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute. The books now have a sticker on the inside of the cover identifying the book as part of the Katarina Tomasevski Collection, and they are catalogued as such in the library database.
